It is our aim on every project that the client finishes the process wanting to re-engage with us in the future. We believe that communication is cornerstone to developing trust – before we send an email or write a letter we pick up the phone or arrange a meeting.
QUALITY
Iconic’s formative years were spent in the competitive high-end landed estates market producing some of the finest quality homes in the country. We are well aware of where quality comes from. For us the process of delivering a quality product starts from appointment of the first subcontractor in our approved supply chain – it is in the fabric of the building before any finishes are applied and by using artisans and tradesmen works are finished impeccably.
SAFETY
Our first priority is safety – the safety of the operatives on site and the general public. We believe that everyone deserves to be able to go to work in a safe environment and return home fit and well at the end of each day. At Iconic safety is a culture. We educate our operatives and ask them to challenge conventional thinking and by doing this they engage and become a part of the health and safety system. We are confident in our health and safety practices and are regularly audited by our external health and safety advisors RHSS. RHSS has helped Iconic develop systems that safely manage our projects in the challenging sectors in which we operate.

We have the management resource capabilities to deliver complex building projects located in ‘logistically challenging’ areas. Our projects often involve intricate façade retention schemes, extensive deconstruction and ground works, frame construction, full M&E and lift installations, and high-end internal finishes and fit-out in both residential and commercial schemes. All projects include Contractor Design elements such as M&E, bespoke joinery and metalwork, roofing and staircases for example as well as ‘quality’ buildability input. We pride ourselves on the ‘ownership’ and ‘collaborative’ manner in which we deliver.
Through forming strong relationships with our clients and engaging with a tried, tested and trusted supply chain Iconic has achieved a secure and independent financial position. This enables us to offer peace of mind to our clients through the procurement and the construction phase of each project. We can operate comfortably across a variety of construction fields under various forms of Contract from Traditional routes to Design & Build currently on projects up to £15m in value.
Ensuring local communities engage with Construction projects is key to Iconic. Regular liaison with our neighbours either through Project Update Newsletters, meetings or more informal, regular face to face contact helps us create good relationships and as far as possible limit the impact the construction process will have on our neighbours and local communities. The majority of our projects are registered to the Considerate Contractors Scheme, meaning we endeavour to exceed the statutory requirements in terms of our commitment to reducing the direct and indirect impact of construction projects on both communities and the environment.
Iconic is also in the process of engaging with local schools and higher education establishments to offer site visits and insights into our construction project processes as well as information and advice on the variety of roles and careers available to them in the construction industry.
We raised money for a local charity at our Old Street project by engaging the Iconic site team, client team and subcontractors in sports events and other activities. This has helped strengthen our relationships and allow us to give something back to the community. We will now look to continue this idea on our future projects going forward as we seek to continually improve our work in the community.
